Dr. Williams specializes in cataract surgery, plastic surgery of the eyelids and Lasik using the most current equipment and techniques. His specialty training also includes treatment of macular degeneration. His research in the field of macular degeneration has been presented at scientific forums on the subject. Dr. Williams also treats other ocular medical conditions, including diabetes and glaucoma.
Dr. Williams was born in Provo, Utah and has lived all over the United States. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Brigham Young University. He then graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina, simultaneously earning an M. D. degree and Ph. D. degree in Neuroscience. He completed his residency at the Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake, where he did extensive research in macular degeneration.
Dr. Williams is married and has three children, age 5, 3 and 2. Tawni, his wife, is a Bountiful native. Together they do triathlons, personally sponsoring a triathlon for charitable purposes in Bountiful every August. Together they also enjoy the outdoors, rock climbing, skiing and country dancing. Dr. Williams also speaks fluent Spanish.
Dr. Fred Clayson graduated from Brigham Young University. He received his medical degree from the University of Utah and then completed an ophthalmology residency at Indiana University. He has practiced in Ogden since 1978. He has performed thousands of cataract surgeries using the most advanced ocular implants. An experienced Lasik surgeon, Dr. Clayson also works with patients with glaucoma and pediatric eye care patients. Dr. Clayson has performed humanitarian health care in Liberia, West Africa and Romania.
Dr. Clayson enjoys spending time with his wife and three adult children. He has enjoyed singing for years with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, skiing and scuba diving.
Dr. Bruce Lundin is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology. He earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree from Pacific University. During his doctorate education, he completed an internship with the Phoenix Indian Medical Center. After he completed his education, he worked with the Washoe Tribe in Gardenerville, NV.
Dr. Lundin's professional interests include diabetic retinopathy and all types of contact lense fits. He practices all aspects of optometry, including comprehensive eye exams and hard to fit RGP, sclera and hybrid contact lenses. Dr. Lundin is experienced in the treatment and management of ocular disease.
Outside of optometry, Dr. Lundin enjoys all types of sports. He has five children and enjoys outdoor activities like fishing, hiking and camping.
